My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with some nice touches, although they felt a bit basic compared to other aspects of the hotel. The location overlooking the magnificent fjord was truly spectacular, offering a great perspective for photographs. The service was friendly but seemed to be under pressure, and I found some of the offerings overpriced. The dining options were good in variety and quality, although I felt they could have been even better. The facilities were adequate, but some areas needed updating or a good cleaning.

I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable, immaculately clean, and a bonus to have tea and coffee facilities. While the views were great, the rooms tended to get too warm in summer. Facing the fjord, they offered a fantastic view.

Rooms

The rooms were immaculately clean, comfortable, and provided tea and coffee facilities, which was a nice touch. The views were amazing, but they could get too warm in the summer.
Service
8.0
The service was excellent. They were very friendly and welcoming, and they even had a collection of antique cars in the basement that we could see. However, there was a small hiccup where they could not provide an explanation for an issue, which left a bit of disappointment, and I ended up paying in disgust.
Location
10.0
The location was just perfect, with a nice outdoor jacuzzi pool set in an amazing mountain landscape. Being next to the waterfall and Norse museum was very convenient, and the ability to walk down to Geiranger fjord with fantastic views was a big plus. Not far from the famous Dalsnibba Mountain lookout and the Eagle Road with its eleven hairpin turns and great views.
Dining

The dining experience was absolutely amazing, with delicious local food included. However, it lacked a bit of a fine touch for such a big and expensive hotel. While the food was excellent, there might not be a wide variety of choices for vegetarians.
Facilities
The hotel had fantastic facilities, from room service to laundry services, making the stay very convenient.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was amazing, with great views of the fjord, but the room had some issues like an ugly view despite the beautiful surroundings and a dated sofa bed. The service was a mix of rudeness and professionalism, and the dining experience varied from rich and varied to disappointing. However, the facilities like the heated outdoor pool with a view were impressive.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were spotless with tea and coffee facilities, a real treat for a Scandinavian hotel. The buffet options for breakfast and dinner were extensive and delicious. The only downside was the limited laundry facilities with just one washer and dryer. The location was ideal, just a stone's throw from the ferry terminal with a spectacular waterfall right beneath the hotel.

The hotel offers stunning fjord views and a large outdoor heated pool, conveniently located near the Fjord Center at the basin. The service is exceptional, with quality staff, although some may find the service lacking warmth and friendliness. The location is unbeatable, right by the waterfalls and facing the fjord, perfect for capturing breathtaking photographs. The dining options are sufficient, typical of upscale properties, with homemade organic products available. Overall, a great choice for a memorable stay in the Norwegian fjords.
